The WikiCon is a german-language Wikimedia-conference organised by the Wikimedia-community. After Skillshare 2010 in Lüneburg and the WikiCon 2011 in Nuremberg the WikiCon 2012 took place at the university of applied sciences Vorarlberg (''Fachhochschule Vorarlberg'') in Dornbirn, Austria. The conference was funded by WMAT (10,000 EUR), WMDE (10,000 EUR), WMF (10,000 EUR), WMCH (5,000 EUR) and the government of Vorarlberg (1,560 EUR + free usage of the university-buildings and their staff).
