In the course of the year several workshops were held in schools. Wikipedia and Wikimedia were presented to pupuils, which made the creation of a methods and script database necessary. During the workshops students were encouraged to consider strengths and weaknesses of Wikipedia as an encyclopedia. They were motivated to think about and start estimating the reliability of informaiton and sources. The offered workshops lasted two, three and four hours and were offered to different hight school ages (grades 5-8). | |||
