Manuel Schneider and Reiner Strubert took part at the Finance Meeting in Paris in the name of WMAT. The meeting was thematically dedicated to the future organisation and allocation of competences of the fundraising. The option to have independently organised fundraiser was favoured, especially on the German side. Therefore the discussion turned to how to organise the dissemination of the centrally gathered donation to the country organisations. Our position, that fundraisers are better organised by people and chapters who have knowledge of the regional specifics was politely acknowledged, but finally it became clear that a centralisation and therefore increased importance of the Foundaiton will be impossible to avoid. | |||
