*The camera was used for the first time at the Wikipedia Academy (29-30 June). Marco Fleckinger spontaneously found enough free time to go to Berlin to attend the event. The goal here was to gather experiences with the new device. | |||
*A un unexpected collaboration with the German TV station NRW.TV took place during the LinuxDay 2012. The ComputerClub2, a very successful TV show in Germany which ran for decades on WDR (West German Public Broadcaster), wanted to question the organisers of the event. WikiTV and ORF established a connection from Berlin via Vienna to Düsseldorf, which allowed for an interview in the highest possible TV quality. We were also able to present WikiTv during the show, whose recording we keep, but still haven't secured a release under a free license. | |||
