The cooperation between the University of Applied Sciences in Dornbirn and WM Austria exsists since 2010. Initially the focus was set on integrating economic sciencies coursework into Wikipedia articles. The collaboration was agreed upon together with the rector of the time, Prof. Dr. Feuerstein. Finally courses were held as part of the project wiwiwiki (economics wiki), which also exists in several German universities. | |||
Further contacts led to a cooperation while organising the WikiCon 2012 in Dornbirn. The university of applied sciences made all the rooms, auditoriums and canteen available. Several professors participated by submitting presentations and workshops. Thematically these were positioned to interest both univeristy staff and wikimedians, i.e. creative commons licenses or the the possibility to publish a "wikibook". | |||
