	Wikimedia Austria - association of the advancement for free Knowledge (nachschauen bei den bylaws!) is an autonomous association, who is committed to the idea of free knowledge. The Association is the local chapter of the Wikimedia Foundation. It was founded by authors of the free encyclopedia Wikipedia. The Wikimedia foundation is a non-profit organisation, who is running various free web-projects including Wikipedia. The goals of Wikimedia Austria are the spread of open content, like Wikipedia and its sister projects and to promote open content in Austria. The free encyclopedia Wikipedia has made an excellent track record, a main focus of Wikimedia Austria is also the improvement of Austria related topics within Wikipedia and its sister projects.
