three minutes presentation for the Chapters Conference
Basic Facts
- established in 2008
- around 70 members, mostly inactive members, only 1 supportive membership
- almost 50.000 EUR - mostly due to fundraiser 2010/2011
Activities
- MediaWiki software extension: collaborative watchlist
- 10 scholarships for wikimania, 2 of them for Slovakia
- 10-years aniversary (three parties in Vienna, Linz, Graz, with public TV coverage)
- literature scholarships (1000 EUR / a)
Plans for the coming year
- wikipedia loves monuments (working together with austrian authorities)
- fundraising summit in June 2011
- Wiki Conference
- wiki-tv
Problems
