The Project is supported by WMAT, for increasing the amount of images of the upper Mur-valley as a part of WLM. Therefore we asked the organizers for a budget plan, which had been approved for travel cost and accomodation.

For the project, scanning old books of the ''Bundesdenkmalamt'' (Agency responsible for Austrian Monuments)  we bought the Software  PDF-XChange 5 and Abbyy Fine Reader.

* WMAT bought Walky Talkies to improve communication at the Wikicon, Ortsbildmesse (fair for idea exchange concerning improving the villages) in Perg and other events in the future.

*We bought the following merchandising-articles: T-shirts, notebooks, pencils, bags, several folders.  

* We also bought unremovable stickers for tagging our inventory.

The proposal of this new project is supportet by WMAT. It's aim is the scanning of old foto-slides with a focus on historical material.  

The winners of the German Zedlerpreis will get an additional hot-air ballon ticket from us. Additional 4 Tickets are given from the Bundesdenkmalamt for WLM.

WMAT supported the attending community members with reimbursment of travel and accomodation costs.

The Austrian national league of soccer will provide several community members with an all season-accreditation for attendig all matches in Austria for photographing. We are working on a similar agreement with the Austrian Hockey-League.

WMAT supports travels of Austrian attendees of this traditional workshop in Germany.

*Reports are being prepared for the grant application. The members helped with translating into English.

Claudia Garad is participating at the congress in Vienna, which takes place in Oktober 2012.

*WMAT has now got his own tax-identification number: 68 456/6102

*WMAT will rent a workspace at a coworking-space for our new CEO, while searching for the propper office.  

*We are accreditated for the Austrian Super Bowl for taking pictures.  

*We negotiated a good price for a CANON EOS 5D Mk III with the tele lens system EF 400/2,8 L IS USM II. Canon furtheron supports us with an additional battery, a battery-powerpack and a raincoverage.

*WMAT supports the travel of a community-member, dedicated to this topic, so that he can join the conference, which is supported by WMCH an WMFR. All attendees will get a Wikimedia-USB-Drive with solanaceae-articles in several languages.

*We got a request of photographing the people of the federal state government of Salzburg. Therefore and for further projects we are expanding our Photo-equipment by a NIKON AF-S 85mm 1,4 G and a Wifi-adapter for our camera.

After a long selecting process, we will hire Claudia Garad as our new CEO. She lives in Stuttgard and will settle in Vienna until October 2012. The official registration to the social-security-system is being prepared.  

We are supporting the purchase of an additional volume of an entomological paper, which earlier volumes are already bought by us.
